Dalyn Pearson & David Olson
Cherry Docs by David Gow
Cherry Docs is David Gow's powerful and thought-provoking story about what happens to 2 ideologically opposite men when their paths collide: Danny, a liberal Jew and Legal Aid attorney (David Olson) is assigned to represent Mike Downey (Dalyn Pearson), a neo-nazi skinhead, who has kicked a man to death. The name “Cherry Docs” comes from the Doc Martens rose-hued combat boots Mike used when he committed this horrendous, racially-motivated act. The play reveals how this intense and conflicted relationship takes each man through the “eye of the needle” and profoundly changes both of them forever.
